FIE plastron for all sexes. The use of FIE plastron is obligated in almost all (adult) competitions. To be used in combination with a FIE jacket. It is recommended for all weapons.
The plastron adds extra safety to your equipment, especially to the vulnerable armpit (where some major veins are situated) of the armed arm. It also adds some comefort, direct hits have less impact.
Free Fencing uses the same material as is used in the jackets, polyesther with 50% Dyneema. The material is wrinkle free and comfortable. This makes these plastrons best in class.
Velcro is used to adjust the garment to your size.
